We have beaded jewelry created by Greta Spring. Each bead is carefully selected to be incorporated into Greta's jewelry. Her watches, necklaces, earrings and bracelets come in all shapes, textures and colors. Greta rotates her pieces to coordinate with the seasons. You will find something that will match any color in your wardrobe.
Shoppe On Main is pleased to welcome jewelry artist, Nancy Cook of "Oak Ridge Designs". Nancy specializes in wire wrapping with sterling and gold filled wires. Each piece has a gem stone, crystal or natural stone set into the piece with her beautifully crafted wire wrapping technique. Nancy has a beautiful assortment of rings, bracelets and necklaces.
Karen Dentinger is known through out Western New York for her distinctive necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Each piece is cast from an antique piece, whether a button or horse bridle. Karen then adds gemstones and sterling to make classic, one-of-a-kind pieces.
We are proud to present our newest jewelry artist, Tina Marie Covell. Tina is originally from WNY, but currently lives in PA. She brings to the shop a new line of sophisticated jewelry that can be worn for any occasion. Combining the whimsical elegance of sterling silver charms with the natural elegance of semi-precious stones, Tina offers the shop yet one other style of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. For my horsey friends and me, she has included a line of "running wild horses", inspired by her own passion of classical dressage riding.
Fabric artist and doll maker, Annie Hoy is back and better then ever! Annie sculpts beautiful collectible dolls, individually created, each unique in their look and personality. For all us baby boomers, Emily Morrissey has brought "Fit To be Dyed" to Shoppe On Main. This is a complete line of tie-dyed shirts: anything from baby one-sies to XL men and women. Emily also hand paints children furniture. In the shop, we have little kids' stools and treasure boxes, painted in fun, bright colors, perfect to accent any child's room!
Rosanna Schultz designs jewelry according to the treasures she finds on the beaches of Lakes Erie and Ontario. Rosanna takes colored glass, weathered by the waves and sand , and weaves together her jewelry with strands of gold, copper and silver. You will find sets as well as single pieces. Celebrate the Great Lakes with Rosanna's sea glass jewelry.
Kat's Kreations is one of our newest additions to the shop. Kathryn Ammirato brings in beautifully designed jewelry made of natural stone, combined with ribbon, leather and metal. Each piece tells a story of where the stone might have originated. We welcome Kat to Newfane!
Lisa McCausland comes to Shoppe On Main with "Petit Fleur Handcrafted Designs." Purses out of crocheted boiled wool, some from the wool of family sheep; quilts and throws in all colors are just some of what Lisa has at the shop. Lisa teaches our weekly crochet classes here at Shoppe On Main. Beginners just starting or more advance students are welcome.
Love funky yarn? So do we! And lucky for our shoppe, so does Hope, our crazy knitting lady. Hope comes from a long line of knitters, from her grandma down through her mom, who owned a knitting shop on Long Island for over 30 years. Hope brings in scarves, mittens, vests, hats and more. Rumor has it, she may be supplying us with pottery! Look for information on knitting classes coming in 2015!
Emily Morrissey is now creating her own line of purses, clutches and wallets. Each is individually crafted from the finest leather and fabric. You will find cross-body, double handled purses in large, medium or small, and in many different colors. Our Shoppe now has a collection of Vintage Jewelry and Lace Ornaments to hang on your tree or in your window brought to you by Judy Liberante. You will find pieces of the past fit together to make something new and unique. Bracelets, miniature frames with lace, earrings and necklaces fill this shelf. Judy is also an accomplished metal artist, so many of her pieces are encased in glass with leaded frames.
Joan Reineke is bringing us her wonderful works of knitting! She takes knitting to a new level with her wool/silk blend pillows, childrens' sweaters, lap throws with embroidered flowers and funky dishcloths. Joan lives close by, so we are getting her to fill customer orders very quickly.
