Shoppe On Main, a gallery store featuring exceptional collections of original works of art, as well as limited edition pieces by local artists, oil and water color paintings, jewelry, chocolates, pottery, glassware, wood pieces from bowls to furniture and exquisite gifts.



Shoppe On Main is conveniently located in Western New York on State Route 78, 12 miles north of Lockport, 25 miles east of Niagara Falls. We are a stone's throw from the Lake Ontario shoreline, and are right in the midst of the Niagara Wine Trail and many WNY antique shops. With orchards and farms surrounding our Main Street, Shoppe On Main showcases all of this area's highlights.

Shoppe On Main is a Main Street store front allowing area artists to showcase their work. We feature work by well known artist Geoffrey Harding; furniture craftsman Chuck Hugaboom; watercolor artist Gail Rawlings Smith and contemporary photographers, Stephanie Burgess and Sally Johnson.  

We are proud to introduce Valerie Masterman, of Buffalo, NY as one of our elite jewelry designers.

Each month Shoppe On Main features two of our artists. October our Artists Of The Month are Julie Szurgot and Greta Spring. Julie does her art on drift wood, slate, rocks and bark. Whether wood burned or painted, each piece is a "natural work of art". Greta has been with the Shoppe since we opened. Her jewelry features beads from all over the world. Greta also is one of our in house artist teachers. Each month Greta holds an evening class in beaded jewelry. Classes now feature pieces to adorn you for the upcoming holiday season. Girls' Night Out at Shoppe On Main was such a success, we will repeat it again on Wednesday, November 5 from 5-9pm. This evening will be "Getting Ready for the Holidays." Cost is $35. You will receive a deep shoulder massage, new hair style and hair care ideas, make up and skin care tips from Arbonne, all while wine tasting from Schulze Winery.  Call to reserve your spot. November 13  6:30pm Dried Hydrangea Wreath Class, presented by John & Shirley Taylor. Cost is $40 for all materials to make your own full sized hydrangea wreath. Call to pre-register 778-5273.

November 19   6:30pm Paper Artist Erika Benton will present a workshop on Holiday Card Making. Cost is $10. You will make and take home 6 Holiday cards. Call to pre-register 778-5273.

November 19  6:30pm Shoppe On Main glass artist, Catherine O'Connor will teach a glass fusion class, "Holiday Pin" at her studio at 3506 Lockport Olcott Rd, Lockport, NY. Call Catherine at 433-4247.

November 20   6:30pm Fresh Cornucopia Floral Centerpiece, presented by John & Shirley Taylor. Cost is $25 for all materials to make your own Thanksgiving Centerpiece. Call to pre-register 778-5273.

Saturday November 22 11am-1pm Book signing by local author David H. Brown. David wrote "The Elusive Chauffeur", a murder mystery set in Western New York.

Shoppe On Main, together with 9 other Western Niagara Art venues, will be part of The Holiday Art Trail. Running Saturday and Sunday November 22 & 23 from 10am-5pm, this event coincides with the Lockport Kenan Holiday Show. Pick up a locator map at Shoppe On Main. Immediately following the Saturday part of this event, our shoppe will stay open for our Holiday Open House from 5-7pm. It will be a "Meet The Artist" evening, as well as wine tasting from Schulze Winery and food tasting from Murphy Orchards and Blackman Farms. Come enjoy a relaxed evening of holiday shopping, good food and wonderful wine.

December 3  6:30pm "Holiday Boxwood Tree"  presented by John & Shirley Taylor. Cost is $30 for all materials to make your own Boxwood Christmas Tree. Call to pre-register 778-5273.

December 5  5:30pm-8pm Newfane Holiday Light Up and Parade. Come see Santa brought in on a horse drawn wagon. Cookies, hot cider and hot chocolate at the Gazebo. Shop our local stores while you enjoy a "Charles Dickens Christmas in Newfane". Sponsored by the Newfane Business Association, Lions Club and Newfane Optimist Club.

Thursdays 3:30-4:30 (ages 10-18) and 4:30-6pm (adults) Fiber Artist, Lisa McCausland teaches crocheting classes at Shoppe On Main. Beginners and advanced learners welcome. $5 per class.  For more information call Lisa at 751-6723. 

Yoga Here and Now Class info: $60 for 10 classes, no make-ups (payment due first day) $10 per class for drop-ins. 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at Shoppe on Main. This yoga is for all levels. You do not need to start at the beginning of a session. If interested, please call Margaret at 716-778-9377.
